SEEBURGER to Provide Industry-Specific Adapters for SAP Exchange Infrastructure


SEEBURGER, an SAP Software Partner and a global provider of business integration solutions, has announced that it will provide industry-specific adapters for the SAP Exchange Infrastructure (SAP XI). Using predefined mapping rules for message conversion, these adapters convert industry-standard formats (such as EDIFACT subsets or ANSI X.12) into the business logic of SAP XI’s XML/SOAP-based formats. The adapters also support industry-specific communication networks and protocols for secure transmission of messages. SEEBURGER adapters will be available for the automotive, high-tech, retail, consumer packaged goods, pharmaceuticals, and chemical industries.

Actuate 7 Certified for Use with SAP Business

Actuate Corporation announced the certification of Actuate 7, the latest release of their Information Application Platform, for use with SAP Business Information Warehouse 3.0 (SAP BW) via the OLAP BAPI interface. OLAP BAPIs provide an industry standard for accessing SAP BW data via third-party frontend presentation tools and enable the connection of the SAP BW server to applications with varying OLAP architectures. Actuate 7’s interfaces can query current sales data, create
interactive reports, and display real-time business performance dashboards based on SAP and non-SAP solution data.

Congressman Michael Oxley to Address SAP Customers at SOA-Compliance Conference
