QlikTech Announces QlikView Business Intelligence for SAP

QlikTech Inc., a provider of business intelligence (BI) software solutions, recently released the QlikView Connector for SAP R/3 software. This new offering enables SAP customers to deploy flexible and easy-to-use BI and performance management applications that combine data from SAP R/3, mySAP solutions, and the SAP Business Information Warehouse (SAP BW) component, along with non-SAP data sources. Customers running SAP R/3 or SAP solutions can implement QlikView for SAP and make use of its interactive, multidimensional analysis and reporting capabilities. To shorten implementation times, QlikTech also offers a set of prebuilt analytical templates for financial and sales performance analysis tailored for SAP’s Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), and Sales and Distribution (SD) modules, designed to offer business users a complete view of their enterprise data.

Cognos ReportNet Certified for SAP NetWeaver Integration; Extends to “Powered by NetWeaver” Status

Cognos, a business intelligence and corporate performance management solution provider, has announced that Cognos ReportNet is now certified as “Powered by SAP NetWeaver” for its integration with SAP NetWeaver, SAP’s open integration and application platform. Cognos ReportNet is designed to deliver rapid and effective global-scale enterprise reporting on SAP Business Information Warehouse (SAP BW). Further extending its commitment to SAP solutions and its partnership with SAP, this certification extends Cognos ReportNet’s existing SAP-certified integration, including “Certified for SAP NetWeaver” for OLAP BAPI and Enterprise Portal iViews.

Integrated with Esker DeliveryWare Platform 3.5, Output Connector for SAP enables users to easily format, manage, send, and archive business documents. With Output Connector for SAP’s BC-XOM interface, users can leverage Esker DeliveryWare for intelligent document process automation, multichannel e-document delivery, and advanced archive and retrieval functions to improve document communication and management. Using the new connector, Esker DeliveryWare can take data from SAP and format it (without ABAP or SAPscript changes), route it, and deliver it via email, fax, wireless, HTML, and other transports. In addition, job status and tracking capabilities are provided directly within the SAP spool.

LogicNet Plus Network Design Solution Offered as an Extension to mySAP SCM

LogicTools Inc., a supply chain-planning solution provider, has announced a software partnership with SAP, as well as plans for its LogicNet Plus solution to be offered as an extension to the mySAP Supply Chain Management (mySAP SCM) solution. LogicNet Plus has also been SAP-certified for integration with SAP Advanced Planner and Optimizer (SAP APO) Release 3.1. The LogicNet Plus certified interface is available to all existing network design users of SAP APO and offers network design components that complement mySAP SCM.

Kaba Benzing Adds New Functionality to its SAP Solution

Kaba Benzing has announced that the add-on modules for its B-COMM for R/3 ERP software are now completely reprogrammed in Java and run with Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape, and Mozilla. Add-on modules enable customers to use single components for their individually required functions and are all integrated with the Management Console, which provides a newly standardized and optimized program surface and expanded master record functionality. The new features make more input fields available, and terminal configuration is included for establishing communication channels and setting up terminals. Kaba Benzing has also added a new feature to its CATS interface that allows time managers to handle erroneous bookings directly in SAP. Before the time sheet’s time data is transferred to other applications, such as Human Resources (HR) or Controlling (CO), a supervisor can review the data and make corrections as needed.

Teradata and SAP Join Forces to Deliver Enterprise Analytic Solutions

Teradata, a division of NCR Corporation and a provider of enterprise data warehousing and analytic technologies and services, announced a technology partnership agreement with SAP AG to deliver analytical solutions to targeted industries with high data-volume requirements, including telecommunications, financial services, pharmaceuticals, and aerospace and defense. As part of the agreement, Teradata becomes an SAP Global Technology Partner. The relationship will provide customers with a single, integrated view of their business by delivering industry-specific and highly scalable solutions. Teradata will combine its analytic applications portfolio and platform with SAP’s industry knowledge and business software solutions, powered by SAP NetWeaver.

EMC Unveils EMC Replication Accelerators for SAP Upgrades and SAP Productivity

The EMC Replication Accelerator for SAP Upgrades is designed to streamline the replication of critical business information during upgrades from older versions of SAP R/3 software to newer versions while minimizing risks, resources, and downtime. The EMC Replication Accelerator for SAP Productivity automatically creates copies of the critical information SAP generates for daily analysis, reporting, and testing.

Sabrix Announces Integration Certification for the SabrixConnection with mySAP CRM
