HumanConcepts announced the general availability of new versions of its OrgPlus offerings, designed to give senior business and HR executives and managers a framework to model, visualize, and analyze organizational structures and employee information. OrgPlus Enterprise 2.6 is designed for real-time, secure, browser-based access to graphical HR information for workforce modeling and intelligence, and it features improved integration into existing HR systems such as those from SAP; OrgPlus Online delivers this same functionality in a hosted environment. OrgPlus 6 Desktop allows users to import data from various sources to automatically build organizational charts, and the OrgPlus Reader solution makes charts accessible without an Internet connection or additional OrgPlus licenses.

DataWorks Solution Provides Real-World Production Data for Testing and Training

IntelliCorp, Inc. announced DataWorks, a master data management (MDM) solution that simplifies the creation of SAP data for development, testing, and training during SAP solution upgrades. Built using ABAP, DataWorks operates within SAP releases 4.6C and higher to provide a point-and-click SAP GUI interface that enables automatic transfers of master and transactional data between SAP systems. Companies can test business scenarios and train users with real-world production data by automatically extracting the data from SAP production systems; the working production system can continue running while data is migrated. DataWorks is powered by LiveInterface, IntelliCorp's SAP-certified application integration tool, which is used to build, manage, and monitor data transfers.

Autodesk, Inc. received certification of its Autodesk Utility Design (AUD) solution for integration with SAP R/3 Enterprise. With the solution's certified integration via the SAP Product Management interface (CA-PLM) and its certified Work Order Interface 1.0, infrastructure designers from electric, gas, water, and other utilities industries who use AUD to automate their planning, engineering, and design processes can now access customer data from SAP systems and eliminate manual data entry.
