SAP Certifies ImageNow Document Management Tools to Integrate with SAP ArchiveLink

SAP has certified the ImageNow document management, imaging, and workflow product suite from Perceptive Software for integration with the SAP ArchiveLink software interface. Documents stored in ImageNow, which is designed to help companies easily capture, organize, and retrieve many document types, can link to records in SAP applications, giving users one-click access to supporting documents from SAP solution screens. SAP has also certified the J2EE and portal integration of ImageNow through WebNow, ImageNow's browser-based component. These Perceptive Software solutions have also achieved "Powered by SAP NetWeaver" certification.

 

Impress Releases New Software Version with Added Support for SAP Applications

Version 3.1 of Impress for EPM, Impress Software's packaged application for integrating SAP functionalities with Microsoft Project and Primavera applications, is now available. The latest version is designed to improve and support service-oriented architecture (SOA) with out-of-the-box Web services for common business processes that can be consumed by composite applications. The new version is also intended to help customers better manage capital projects with new functionalities that transfer budget and cost details into the project management system and aggregate these details to the level required by SAP project accounting policies. Impress for EPM 3.1 supports SAP ERP Central Component (SAP ECC) 6.0 and SAP NetWeaver Application Server.

 

New Release of TxShuttle Enhances Support for SAP Transactions

Winshuttle, Inc., a provider of data integration products for SAP solutions, announced the availability of TxShuttle 7, the latest release of a desktop software tool designed to automate, without programming, data transfer from both Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access to any SAP solution. TxShuttle, which has achieved "Powered by SAP NetWeaver" certification, is designed to preserve SAP systems' role-based security. The latest release allows users to create new SAP Project System module projects and SAP Finance module journal vouchers with profitability analysis segments from Excel data, and to enable uploads or downloads of long text data between SAP and Excel.

 

Cisco and SAP Join Forces to Tackle Governance, Risk, and Compliance

Cisco Systems, Inc. and SAP AG will jointly market complementary solutions intended to offer companies improved IT management and controls between Cisco's Service-Oriented Network Architecture (SONA) and three new SAP applications in the SAP solutions for governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) portfolio: SAP GRC Repository, SAP GRC Process Control, and SAP GRC Risk Management. Through their agreement, Cisco and SAP will address GRC issues from the network layer through the application layer, collaborate in sales and marketing, and offer services to help enterprises keep up with evolving GRC mandates, implement GRC software, and design a sustainable risk management process.
