HumanConcepts Announces Deeper Integration of OrgPlus Enterprise with SAP Software


HumanConcepts announced that its OrgPlus Enterprise workforce management application now integrates more deeply with SAP software. OrgPlus Enterprise is designed to align employee hierarchy information directly with SAP HR data. New, deeper integration is intended to provide more consistent security permissions for all end users, support for the SAP HR Interface for Organization Charting (HR-OCI), and integration with the portal capabilities of SAP NetWeaver.


Adobe and SAP Collaborate to Create SAP Enterprise Learning Environment

Adobe Systems Incorporated and SAP AG announced their collaboration to create the SAP Enterprise Learning environment, which combines SAP Learning Solution and the Web conferencing solution Adobe Acrobat Connect Professional. This learning environment is designed to help organizations develop employees more effectively, specifically by enabling them to collaborate with their instructors and other users in real time.


EMC Invests in Information Infrastructure for
SAP Environments

EMC Corporation

To help customers reap value from their SAP investments, EMC Corporation plans to invest in its information infrastructure solutions — made up of EMC's software, services, and platform offerings — for SAP customers by opening an SAP Solutions Center and continuing its Adaptive Computing certification for EMC platforms. EMC also plans to conduct ongoing solutions testing and increase collaboration with SAP Consulting to better address customer infrastructure requirements.


Genesys Introduces Gplus Adapter for SAP Software

Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories, Inc., an SAP software partner, announced that its new Genesys Gplus Adapter, which links the Genesys 7.5 suite with SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence, is now available. The adapter, designed to be used with the analytics capabilities of SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM), is intended to allow companies to use analytics to identify customer needs and to conduct customer interactions based on appropriate business processes.


Deloitte and SAP Pool Resources to Deliver GRC Solutions


Deloitte announced a collaborative initiative between its member firms and SAP AG to develop and deliver enterprise solutions to help clients better enable effective and sustainable governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) processes. Deloitte plans to combine its member firms' consulting, advisory, and implementation services with SAP's integrated GRC solutions to ensure that their clients will be able to correctly plan for, implement, and manage their critical GRC processes.


Day & Zimmerman Joins Dassian to Offer SAP-Based Solutions

Synactive Offers New UI-Design Solution for SAP Applications

Synactive, Inc. announced that it has developed GuiXT Fuzion, a UI-design solution that bridges SAP GUI with the portal capabilities of SAP NetWeaver. GuiXT is designed to allow IT managers and developers to create customized UIs for SAP ERP applications by using existing SAP transactions and a drag-and-drop WYSIWYG editor. Compatible with all existing versions of SAP ERP, GuiXT Fuzion enables UI customization without ABAP or Java coding.


ClearOrbit Provides New Bar Code and Label Management Software


ClearOrbit recently introduced its Compliance Label Manager (CLM) software. Designed to complement SAP applications for supply chain execution, it allows users
to define, manage, and change bar code and label formats without having to use custom programming or code modifications. CLM offers an n-tier, Java based, load-balancing bar code print server, as well as a Web-based management console for real-time control over printers and network hardware.


PEAK Releases Voice-Enabled Solution for SAP SCM Customers

PEAK Technologies launched a voice-enabled solution that lets workers communicate verbally with their SAP supply chain management systems through a wearable computer and wireless headset. Through Voxware, Inc. voice technology, the computer can recognize and synthesize speech; PEAK's SAP-centric integration software then controls the data flow with SAP's supply chain applications. This method is intended to reduce errors and increase user productivity.


SEAL Introduces Electronic Desktop Notification Solution for SAP Applications

SEAL Consulting Inc. recently introduced SEAL EDN, an electronic desktop notification solution designed to combine SAP's enterprise service-oriented architecture (enterprise SOA) capabilities with Google, Microsoft, and Yahoo! gadget and widget technologies to send SAP application
workflow and alert notifications directly to users' desktops. Whether or not users are logged in, they can move directly from SEAL EDN to the SAP transaction requiring their attention.


Novell Teams with SAP to Provide Support for Users Running SAP Applications on SUSE Linux

Novell, Inc. and SAP AG announced a new joint support package for customers running their SAP applications on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server from Novell. The "SUSE Linux Enterprise Server Priority Support for SAP applications" program will be available through SAP Solution Manager and is designed to give users a single support contact for everything from the operating system to the applications themselves.

Microsoft and SAP Ally to Support SQL Server 2005 Adoption



Microsoft and SAP AG announced a joint venture to simplify customer adoption of Microsoft SQL Server 2005, optimizing it for SAP Business Suite. The new offering is meant to allow customers to easily transition to SQL Server 2005, on which many SAP applications now run. For customers upgrading their SAP business solutions, Microsoft and SAP also plan to offer database conversion tools, best practices, and deployment support.
