SAP and IBM to Release First Joint Software Product with "Atlantic"



SAP and IBM have partnered to develop their first joint software product. Known as "Atlantic," the product is designed to allow casual business users — those who likely do not have access to SAP Business Suite — access to SAP workflows, reporting and analytics, and user roles from Lotus Notes. To users, Atlantic will look and feel like Lotus Notes. The first version of the product is anticipated to be released in Q4 of 2008 and will be sold by both SAP and IBM.


Hayes Technology Group's Gold Client Earns SAP Certification

Hayes Technology Group

Hayes Technology Group's Gold Client, a refresh and replication data management software solution, has achieved ABAP Add-on certification, as well as "SAP Solution Manager Ready" status. Gold Client, which is currently available for SAP's ERP, CRM, SCM, and HR applications, allows SAP teams to export user-defined subsets of SAP data from any system within their environment. The software is designed to eliminate manual copying of the entire production database into nonproductive environments.


HCL Technologies Joins
SAP Global Partner — Services Program

One of India's leading global IT services organizations, HCL Technologies Ltd. (HCL) has joined the SAP Global Partner — Services Program. Through this program, HCL will invest in augmenting its SAP consulting practice, creating dedicated SAP sales resources, and fostering marketing activities across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. HCL will work to enhance value, accelerate growth, and reduce implementation costs for customers.


SAP and WorkflowOne Pair Up to Foster Enhanced Supply Chain Management


WorkflowOne and SAP America, Inc. have signed a joint marketing agreement in an effort to foster improved supply chain management (SCM) solutions for branded communications — including sales collateral, direct mail, and invoices — for customers across the US. SAP will help market WorkflowOneAccess, intended to help customers control costs and protect their brand integrity through sourcing, production, and warehousing services. The go-to-market agreement is effective immediately and covers communication, cross-training, and sales-enablement programs.


Intelligroup and iStreet Solutions Unite to Provide Enhanced Management Service


iStreet Solutions

Intelligroup and iStreet Solutions, an SAP Certified Hosting Services provider, signed a partnership agreement: Intelligroup will provide application lifecycle management services (for implementations, upgrades, service pack application, support, and optimization), while iStreet will supply the managed services associated with SAP Hosting. Based on this agreement, Intelligroup will launch its Hosted Solutions service offering, designed to provide a scalable managed services solution for customers' ERP environments.

Hubwoo and SAP Engage in
Business Process Outsourcing Agreement


Hubwoo (until recently known as cc-hubwoo), a global provider of electronic purchasing solutions, has signed a global business process outsourcing (BPO) agreement with SAP AG. The agreement, which involves sales, solution design, and support collaboration with SAP, enables Hubwoo to offer its customers BPO services for the full source-to-pay process (including sourcing and procurement). These services are enabled by SAP solutions — namely, SAP E-Sourcing and SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SAP SRM) applications.
