SAP Announces Plans to Acquire Gigya, a Leader in Customer Identity and Access Management

SAP recently announced its plans to acquire a customer identity and access management company, Gigya, with the aim of enhancing the omnichannel customer experience. SAP intends on integrating Gigya’s consent-based identity data platform with SAP Hybris Profile data matching and enrichment capabilities to provide a single, robust consumer profile. The goal of this combination is to keep customers in control while allowing them to seamlessly connect customer preferences across all channels.

Approyo’s Ignite for SAP HANA Now Live on SAP App Center

Ignite, a dashboard solution from Approyo that aims to optimize processes in SAP HANA, is now available for download via the SAP App Center. Integrated with SAP HANA, Ignite seeks to deliver the services and tools needed to tackle daily business operations and make the most of customer data. The solution also intends to help companies by enabling advanced analytics, cloud, and mobile applications.

Build, Market, and Sell — Dynatrace Joins SAP PartnerEdge Program

Digital performance management company Dynatrace is now a member of the SAP PartnerEdge program. Dynatrace will be able to build, market, and sell software applications on top of SAP technology such as SAP Cloud Platform. Furthermore, the Dynatrace solution is now available on the SAP App Center. The solution aims to deliver fully automated, full stack performance monitoring powered by artificial intelligence to SAP customers.

Background Screening Platform J-One from EBI Is Now Available via SAP App Center
Employment Background Investigations (EBI)

J-One, a background screening and drug testing platform from EBI, is now available through the SAP App Center. The solution integrates with SAP SuccessFactors solutions with the intent to optimize background screening and drug testing processes for employers. By removing the middleware traditionally required for integration, EBI aims to improve software performance and the user experience. J-One also includes security measures such as applicant portal authentication to protect applicant data.

Parken Teams Up with SAP to Provide Parking Options Using SAP Vehicles Network

Parken+, a mobile app used to book and pay via Apple Pay for parking spots in advance, leverages SAP Vehicles Network with the intention of delivering a seamless parking experience. The solution aims to utilize SAP Vehicles Network to merge parking options from multiple providers in a single app. Users enter their destination, duration of visit, and Parken+ delivers a list of options that can be sorted by price or location.

Velostrata Helps SAP Customers Accelerate Migration to the Public Cloud

Cloud migration and workload mobility specialist Velostrata recently released a solution designed to accelerate the migration of SAP software to a public cloud such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure. When combined with SAP’s standard upgrade and migration tools, Velostrata’s solution aims to help simplify application upgrades and ease migration of existing SAP investments to SAP HANA in the public cloud.
