Accenture Launches End-to-End Enterprise Platform for Accelerated Business Transformation

Accenture Intelligent Enterprise Platform aims to help companies transform into intelligent enterprises by leveraging insights for better business decisions. The platform intends to enable collaboration along the entire enterprise transformation process through a guided approach that uses design thinking to spot business problems, intelligent tools to assess the current IT environment, and automation to quickly develop a tailored business case, roadmap, and solution.

SAP Acquires Software-as-a-Service Company Callidus Software

SAP has recently acquired Callidus Software, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company dedicated to facilitating the entire sales cycle with its Lead to Money suite. SAP hopes to leverage CallidusCloud to deliver end-to-end customer relationship management (CRM) to its customers, going beyond traditional CRM to create an intelligent customer experience suite. SAP plans to consolidation the applications within the SAP Hybris cloud portfolio.

Virtual Cloud Network is intended to optimize and secure the delivery of applications and data, no matter where they are located, through an end-to-end network architecture. Leveraging cutting-edge technology, Virtual Cloud Network aims to get the most out of networking and help organizations transition to digital businesses.

SUSE OpenStack Cloud 8 Offers Greater Flexibility to Transform IT Environments

Based on OpenStack Pike, SUSE OpenStack Cloud 8 was recently released with the goal of speeding the deployment of software-defined infrastructure and enable IT transformation. With greater interoperability, scalability, and flexibility, the solution aims to help customers meet business objectives while also reducing costs. The solution features several enhancements over its predecessors, including a pre-integrated and scalable monitoring tool that is designed to simplify the management of SUSE OpenStack Cloud environments.

Cisco to Acquire Business Intelligence Startup Accompany

Cisco recently announced plans to acquire Accompany, a startup that helps businesses strengthen relationships with an artificial intelligence (AI) platform that features real-time profiles of important business leaders. Cisco plans to leverage Accompany’s relationship intelligence technology to extend its own portfolio of collaboration solutions — by including user and company profile data in WebEx meetings, for example — and enable organizations to collaborate intelligently with their employees, partners, and customers.
