A recent survey from IT placement firm Robert Half Technology finds that ERP technical developers and business intelligence analysts will receive among the highest raises in IT sector next year in the U.S.
According to the Robert Half Technology Salary Guide 2011, base compensation for ERP technical developers is projected to increase 5.2 percent next year, to a range of $79,250 to $109,500.
Average starting salaries for business intelligence analysts will rise 5 percent, to the range of $82,500 to $116,250 annually.
By comparison, the average starting salary across all IT roles will increase 3.4% next year.
If you’re looking for a hot industry to use those skills in, think healthcare, transportation or business services. Those are the markets with the hightest demand for IT workers in the U.S.
