In less than 4 weeks I should be stepping off the plane in Barcelona, ready to soak in the sun and fun. Oh yeah, and also tackle the week ahead at the GRC/HR/FIN Conference! I'm so excited to be speaking at this year's event, but I'm most excited for the chance to visit with our customers face to face. As part of the GRC support organization, I talk to our customers every day, but it's going to be great to actually meet everyone, shake their hands and tell them how much we appreciate their faith in our product.
So for those of you that will be at the conference, look me up. I'll be doing two presentations this year:
- November 10, 16:15-7:30 - Proven techniques for customizing your risk analysis and remediation ruleset.
- For those who were in Prague last year, I have updated the presentation so you won't be bored and hopefully you'll learn some new things. For those who haven't been to this presentation and are using any Access Control product, I encourage you to attend. The rules are really the core of all our applications and I'm so excited to be able to share with you my knowledge around this subject.
- November 11, 16:30-17:45 - GRC Expert Live: Audit ready your segregation of duties remediation process
- It's the first time I'm presenting this and I'm very excited. The presentation itself is very short, just gives the highlights of the article I wrote. The majority of the time will be spent answering any and all remediation questions you have.
I'll also be staffing the SAP Labs during the conference. The labs are a great chance for you to get 1:1 time with experts (hate calling myself an expert, but that's my title in the lab!). You can ask any and all questions you have and I'll do my best to answer. If I don't know it, I promise to find the answer for you.
They've also asked me to do "Ask the Expert" sessions which occur after the conference presentations finish for the day. Again, that word expert. Hopefully I can live up to it and would love to see you at those events as well.
Really hoping to connect with as many people as possible while there. Drop me a note if you plan on being at the conference and would like to chat. Even outside the labs and Ask the Experts, I'd love the chance to get together and talk GRC!
