Incorporating dashboards into your everyday reporting

by Scott Priest, Managing Editor

March 29, 2011

Especially as user interfaces become more engaging and Web-based with the rise of more accessible technology, the SAP GUI interface can seem dull or hard to follow by comparison. There's plenty of valuable data, but you can find your eyes glazing over after a while of looking at the same numbers.

Luckily, with the help of functionality in SAP Crystal Dashboard Design (formerly Xcelsius), EPAM Systems' Iryna Krauchanka and Syargei Rassadzin have found some ways of spicing up the generic SAP GUI.

In their new SAP Professional Journal article, "Integrate a Dashboard into SAP GUI," they should in a step-by-step guide how to create a more user-friendly sales report. User-friendly can be relative, but the dashboards they use in this article are suitable up to high-level management.
