Not a seat to be found at the GRC 2011 keynote in Las Vegas

March 9, 2011

It’s been another busy day at the GRC 2011 conference in Las Vegas and there seems to be a lot of buzz and interest surrounding the SAP BusinessObjects GRC 10.0 release. This afternoon Jim Dunham delivered the GRC keynote address to a packed room giving attendees insight into all the latest and greatest features in this new release. With live demos and insights from Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers, EADS (virtually), and Levi’s, attendees were able to get a variety of perspectives on the new functionality.

One of the top enhancements that Jim discusses is how the new platform harmonizes Access Control with Risk Management and Process Control allowing for shared processes, data, and user interface across the GRC suite. This allows for the complete management of all risks and controls from a single environment lowering total cost of ownership by eliminating redundancy in administration, configuration, setup, and end user training.

Another key benefit of this version that attendees have been asking for is the new ability to schedule risk analysis from your SAP BusinessObjects Process Control automated rule framework.

There are lots of great things to come with SAP BusinessObjects GRC 10.0. If you’re attending the conference, I would definitely recommend checking out the GRC lab as well as other sessions covering all the new functionality.
