Sometimes you don't want the customer to see everything, especially when it comes to pricing. And configuring your SAP pricing correctly can help achieve that.

That's just one of the tips I got while speaking with Rajen Iyer this week. Iyer is the founder of two consulting firms, and co-author of a book called Effective Pricing in SAP ERP.

He provided some tips and tricks for SAP users looking to streamline their configuration of SAP pricing functionality as well as some practical information about integrating pricing with various SAP applications.

Iyer also touches on the advantages to using routines and copy controls instead of multiple conditions, and provides some tips for using rounding rules and functions.

You can listen to my interview with Iyer here:

Got your own questions about pricing in SAP?

If you have your own questions about pricing in SAP, you can ask Iyer during a LIVE Q&A in the SCM Forum here on the Insider Learning Network on Thursday, Sept. 8 at 12:30 p.m. Eastern. It's a great opportunity to get advice from an SAP expert.
