SAP HANA at BI 2012

by Bridget Kotelly

February 27, 2012

I’m looking forward to my first event with SAPInsider – BI 2012 -- and especially to learning more about one of the hottest trends out there for SAP right now -- SAP HANA.  We’ve been hearing the SAP marketers and evangelists promoting SAP HANA over the past year, and now comes the opportunity to learn firsthand from early adopters, including Medtronic and Deloitte, what their real world experience has been.

I’m especially looking forward to the keynote on How Big Data Shapes Business Results.  I’ve had a sneak peak at the presentation and Timo Elliot and Steve Lucas promise to deliver some very interesting insight on emerging trends fueling business analytics and BI in 2012 and beyond.  This session will be streaming live for those who aren’t able to attend, and I would highly recommend tuning in.

Some other noteworthy sessions include SAP Demo and Discussion Forums at the SAP Booth.  The SAP HANA content highlighted in these new forums includes “How to build a strong SAP HANA community” and “Real-time BI with SAP HANA”.  The smaller, more intimate atmosphere at these discussion forums will allow for a great learning opportunity.
