Why the Agenda Builder Is the Most Important Pre-Conference Tool

Getting excited for the upcoming events in Las Vegas and Orlando this March? Or are you still trying to convince your boss that it’s a great investment to attend?  Either way, you should head to our event Web sites to check out the Agenda Builders for the conferences – and here’s why.

You’re attending: Get a head start on planning your week

These conferences are jam-packed with hundreds of sessions to give you as much knowledge and insight as possible on a variety of topics.  That’s a lot to choose from.  Take the time now to review the session abstracts and speakers online so that you can make an informed decision about the sessions that will benefit you and your company the most.  Your boss will be impressed, too – your boss and the rest of your team can give you input and also get excited for what you’ll be bringing back.  By planning out your week in advance, you can avoid the last-minute rush to choose between sessions minutes before you attend them.  This will make for all the more enjoyable and relaxed experience – you can focus on the information on the screen instead of the schedule in the program guide!

You want to attend: Show your boss the value in every session

There are a ton of resources out there for SAP software, so why should your boss send you to this conference?  With hundreds of sessions given by experts from all over the world, it’s hard to find another resource that can give you so much value in one place, whether you attend case studies given by SAP customers just like you, participate in discussion forums with experts and customers alike, or simply network with professionals that are here for the same reasons you are. By showing your boss how you will be spending every hour of the conference, it will be hard for him or her to ignore how much you will be learning and bringing back to your company.  The Agenda Builder even allows you to select more than one session per time block, so you can show your boss how many options there are, and perhaps convince him or her to send a colleague with you to get the most out of the experience!

Here’s how to use it!

Go to any events page and log in – You can log in using the information you used to sign up for the conference or create a new account using your work email address. Once you are logged in, click Tracks & Sessions on the left-hand menu.

Once you are logged in, click Tracks & Sessions on the left-hand menu.

Select any track from the list to view which sessions are being offered.

When you find a session you’re interested in, click the Add button next to the session. 

Once you’ve selected the sessions you are interested in, click Schedule Builder in the left-hand bottom menu.  From there, you can see which sessions you’ve selected by day and time. 

Have an open spot in your schedule? Click the time next to the words "You currently have no sessions schedule for this time slot" to see a list of sessions available at that time.

Click Add beside any of the sessions to put them in your schedule!

Once you’ve gotten your schedule to your liking, you can click Printable Version.  That way, you can bring a copy with you to the conference – or to your boss’s office!
