Day 1 at Reporting & Analytics 2012: Don't-miss keynotes, case studies & lots of networking

by Bridget Kotelly

October 29, 2012

Bridget Kotelly, Conference Producer, Reporting & Analytics 2012.

I want to welcome everyone to Reporting & Analytics 2012!  What a great turnout. Sanjay Poonen is kicking things off this morning with an enlightening keynote showing us some of the exciting things companies are doing with the latest and greatest analytic technologies, discussion of the intersection of mobile & analytics, and some great  demos. The speed at which users can visualize data in virtually any way, shape or form imaginable is remarkable -- and promises to incite innovation and change across many industries.

No doubt Steve Lucas’s closing keynote this afternoon on ‘How big data shapes technology strategies and drives business transformation’ will also pique the interest and imagination of everyone in attendance.

I am looking forward to learning more real-world scenarios during the many case study sessions planned throughout the next few days – McKesson, Intel, Fairfax Water, Konica Minolta, Arizona Chemical, Coca-Cola, just to name a few.

Hearing directly from the many SAP speakers is a great resource attendees rely on to get their questions answered -- thanks to all of the R&A 2012 speakers for the huge effort in developing top-level presentations.

I encourage everyone joining us here in Vegas this week to take advantage of the networking and small group interactive sessions  - our cocktail receptions, Ask the Experts sessions (see pages 18-19 of your program guide), and SAP Experts Live Q&As (more details on page 15).

Don't hesitate to find me – or anyone on our team – for advice on sessions, tracks and networking opportunities, follow us #reporting2012 for updates from speakers and attendees This is a unique opportunity to get plenty of face time with our experts and make the most of your time at Reporting & Analytics  - enjoy!
