SAPinsider Publishes New Article — “Moving Maintenance from Preventative to Predictive with SAP HANA”

March 4, 2014

DEDHAM, Mass., March 4, 2014 SAPinsider magazine announces that a new article, “Moving Maintenance from Preventative to Predictive with SAP HANA” by Axel Janssen and Jens Hagen, is now available in its January-March 2014 issue.

The availability of machine-to-machine connectivity and increasing amounts of data with which to make informed decisions are driving the shift toward predictive maintenance. Yet “time to insight” is often delayed by a lack of data consolidation across a variety of data sources and formats. This article explores how the SAP Custom Development and Strategic Projects organizations co-innovate with customers to enable in-memory computing to help make predictive maintenance with little time to insight a reality.
