Date: September 20
Time: 12:30 PM ET/9:30 AM PT
Duration: 60 minutes

Virtustream is one of the leading providers of migrating SAP deployments to the cloud. Come chat with our panel of experts and learn first-hand what it takes to be successful, what to avoid, and what questions you should be thinking about as you look to modernize, migrate, or upgrade your SAP implementation using cloud services.

Join Virtustream’s Lee Johnson and Nitesh Arora for an in-depth technical conversation on migrating SAP systems to the cloud. Bring your specific questions about greenfield deployments, SAP HANA migrations, upgrades, and much more. The panelists will answer questions such as:

  • What do organizations consistently overlook in migration planning?
  • What does the typical timeline, planning, and benchmarking process look like?
  • How do you figure out how much downtime is needed during migration?
  • How do you execute pre-production testing without breaking the systems?
  • What organizational learning is needed for a successful migration?
  • What kind of performance and ROI benefits can an organization realize?
  • What drivers are you seeing in most migrations to cloud?  Cost savings?  Better performance?

From an existing SAP on-premise to cloud. My two latest clients have 400 Z programs, so how will you normally handle this. I have used SOLMAN to help with this, but how to bring many Z programs into the cloud, especially as the clients feel SAP has lots of missing "extended" functionality. Also how to handle for example an Industry Solution like Retail and Health too, thanks.

When migrating to HANA, what additional needs to be installed or activated to use HANA Live!. We currently don't have BW, or any BI reporting tool.

Things I should consider to migrate SAP BW to cloud (AWS). Our objective is to move SAP BI 7.01 NUC to Cloud and perform an upgrade project on cloud (SAP BW 7.4 UC). What all things I would need to consider, like network bandwidth, performance which communicating with source systems (ECC/CRM) or EP for reporting.Sizing based on Quick sizer.
