Bringing the Intelligent Enterprise to Life

Embedding intelligence where it counts — company-wide — is essential to succeeding in the new experience economy. But how do you go about achieving this goal, and where do you even begin? This article looks at how the resources available at SAPPHIRE NOW and ASUG Annual Conference and the new SAP Customer Experience LIVE event can help SAP customers lay the foundation for becoming an intelligent enterprise and successfully navigating the customer experience journey.

In a world where experiences matter most, companies need to know what customers want, and how they want it. Embedding intelligence where it counts — company-wide — is essential to gaining this insight. This year’s SAPPHIRE NOW and ASUG Annual Conference — May 7-9 in Orlando, Florida — provides attendees with a practical path forward for achieving these goals through executive insights, customer stories, workshops, hands-on demos, roundtables, educational sessions, and more.

On the first day, keynotes from SAP CEO Bill McDermott and Qualtrics CEO Ryan Smith will share how organizations can tackle new opportunities in the experience economy. On the second day, Hasso Plattner, chairman of the supervisory board of SAP, will go deep into how the combination of X-data (experience data) and O-data (operational data) come together in the intelligent enterprise.

An Interactive, Personalized Experience

Building on the keynotes, over the course of three days, SAP experts, customers, and partners will share their insights into the intelligent enterprise journey in a variety of formats to meet the unique needs of attendees. In the Best-Run Theaters, experts will look at how companies are using SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, and innovations such as machine learning, Internet of Things, and blockchain to achieve business impact. There will also be hands-on workshop spaces, where experts can help attendees develop strategies, such as building a business case for innovations.

On the show floor, attendees will be able to find solutions and services to help them address pressing challenges and take advantage of opportunities. There will be five “Neighborhoods” — Customer Experience, Digital Supply Chain, Network and Spend Management, People Engagement, and Digital Core — where attendees can learn how companies are already becoming intelligent enterprises. In three nearby “Pavilions,” attendees will be able to get advice from experts in specific areas — Industries, Platform and Intelligent Technologies, and Services and Support — including guidance on the next steps that make the most sense for them.

A Reimagined Learning Opportunity

The future of business is built on the customer experience, and to help companies navigate this reality, SAP is debuting the SAP Customer Experience LIVE event in North America. Held alongside SAPPHIRE NOW and ASUG Annual Conference, this event runs May 7-8. SAPPHIRE NOW and ASUG Annual Conference attendees can register for SAP Customer Experience LIVE at no additional cost.

SAP Customer Experience LIVE is an immersive two-day event featuring SAP customers, partners, executives, and influencers who will share their stories, time, and talents to help guide attendees through the customer experience journey. Attendees will learn how their peers are using SAP solutions to understand their customers, get hands-on interaction with solutions, and understand how to harness that knowledge for a competitive edge.
