WorkFusion Intelligent Automation Cloud Certified by SAP as Integrated with SAP S/4HANA

WorkFusion announced on July 30, 2019, that its Intelligent Automation Cloud solution is now certified for integration with SAP S/4HANA. WorkFusion’s Intelligent Automation Cloud uses built-in artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities to help automate processes and simplify operations, with little to no code required, and is intended to reduce manual effort, drive efficiency, and lower costs. The solution offers prebuilt automations via bots that interact with commonly used SAP controls, such as dropdowns and image and text editors.

Utopia Unveils Latest Release of Retail and Fashion Management Extension for SAP S/4HANA

On July 24, 2019, Utopia Global, Inc. unveiled the latest release of SAP Master Data Governance, retail and fashion management extension by Utopia on SAP S/4HANA. This newest release of the retail and fashion management extension is compatible with SAP S/4HANA version 1809 and earlier, and intends to help retailers manage data in a single, simplified environment. It includes tools that help create, enrich, and standardize retail master data, and aims to help retailers bring new products and services to market faster while reducing data management costs.

SAP and Intel Expand Partnership to Optimize Intel Technology for SAP Software


On July 18, 2019, SAP and Intel announced an expanded partnership intended to help customers deploy high-performance business applications on Intel-based infrastructure in the cloud, on premise, and in hybrid environments. Through this partnership, SAP and Intel aim to optimize Intel technology for SAP’s end-to-end enterprise software applications, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, the SAP Leonardo portfolio, and SAP Business Suite to help enable customers to accelerate their digital transformations. A joint center of excellence is also planned to provide guidance for customers.

SAP Concur and AvidXchange Partner to Streamline the Vendor Payment Process

AvidXchange announced on July 18, 2019, a partnership with SAP Concur intended to enable Concur Invoice customers to process vendor payments through the AvidPay Network, which includes more than 500,000 suppliers and supports multiple electronic payment options. The integration between Concur Invoice and AvidXchange, which is available via the SAP Concur App Center, aims to help businesses streamline approvals, speed the transfer of funds, and better manage the accounts payable process with automation of the full invoice to payment process.

SAP and Esri Team Up to Provide Service-Based SAP HANA Support for Esri ArcGIS


On July 9, 2019, SAP announced at the Esri User Conference that SAP Cloud Platform, SAP HANA service, is now the first-ever database as a service that is fully supported by Esri ArcGIS technology. With this support, the SAP HANA service can now serve as an enterprise geodatabase with Esri’s ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Pro, with the aim of enabling easier integration of enterprise data with spatial data in on-premise, cloud, or hybrid deployments. This solution intends to help businesses use this integrated data for greater insights, improved business decisions, and quicker innovation.

SAP Upscale Commerce Integrates with LivePerson to Deliver Conversational Commerce
LivePerson, Inc.

LivePerson announced on July 1, 2019, a new offering that integrates its advanced platform for conversational commerce with the SAP Upscale Commerce solution to enable small and midsized businesses to connect to consumers through messaging. First showcased in a joint presentation with SAP at the 2019 SAPPHIRE NOW and ASUG Annual Conference, this offering is now generally available. The integrated offering is intended to enable rapid deployment of advanced digital stores that provide consumers with sophisticated customer service using their preferred messaging platforms.
