At the 2010 Administration and Infrastructure Conference, a panel of experts (some of them SAP employees, some not) came together to answer questions about SAP support collected ahead of time from conference attendees. Specifically, the questions were about how to choose between standard and enterprise support, an option that SAP began giving customers again earlier in 2010.
As one of the expert panelists prepares to write an article on support changes and SAP Solution Manager for Solution Manager Expert, I was wondering if anyone had any specific questions for the author. In this way, just like the panel, the author can answer questions that we know the audience is curious about.
For example, the author will address the following common questions: When it comes to the value of SAP Solution Manager, you might know that enterprise support supports its full functionality. But what if your company hasn't selected enterprise or still isn't sure? What will be missing from SAP Solution Manager with standard support, and how will it affect you - if at all?
