Roll up your sleeves: There's no substitute for hands-on experience

In just three short weeks hundreds of SAP professionals will arrive in Orlando for the annual SAP NetWeaver/BI and Portals conference. According to my research when developing the content for this event, the majority of these folks are coming with SAP BusinessObjects on their minds, and on their to-do lists. If they are seeking hands-on experience with these tools, this is one event that won't dissapoint.

To give attendees to this event a special opportunity to get hands-on experience with Crystal Reports, Web Intelligence, and Xcelsius, SAP is hosting a SAP BusinessObjects Discovery Room. In addition to seeing a short presentation and demo of each solution, kiosks are available in the room to allow attendees a chance to play around with these solutions.

Other SAP BusinessObjects solutions, such as SAP BusinessObjects Data Services and SAP BusinessObjects Explorer, will be the focus of hands-on lab sessions that are part of the conference agenda. These are more intensive three-hour labs that let attendes tackle a project end-to-end. Other products and projects that attendees can get hands-on experience with include SAP NetWeaver MDM, SAP and SAP BusinessObjects system performance tuning, and data cleansing and validation.
