This past week I had a great call with Paul Ovigele, an independent SAP Financials ERP consultant who is one of our featured bloggers on insiderlearningnetwork.com, Paul has also recently had published his book “100 Things You Should Know About Financial Accounting with SAP “ and is a well known speaker at our annual Financials conference.
Paul provided me with some great insight into cost of sales accounting within SAP. He discussed the the greatest benefits in using a cost of sales reporting approach versus period-based reporting and talked in detail about how much effort is required when setting up cost of sales accounting in SAP. He also talks through some other ways of implementing cost of sales accounting in SAP that you might not have been aware of.
Listen in and make sure to check out Paul’s weekly blog on the Financials page.
