Professional boxing and David Copperfield aren’t the only shows drawing crowds this week at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Jumpstart Day here at BI and IT 2011 has officially kicked off, and the rooms are abuzz with conversations on SAP BusinessObjects, BPC, and enterprise mobility (to name a few). More than being a great start to the week-long event, it’s a sign of the much-anticipated content and networking opportunities to come.
On the content side, topics ranging from SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.0 to in-memory computing to SAP NetWeaver 7.3 upgrades are sure to pique some interest. The various customer case studies offering best practices for SAP BusinessObjects Planning and Consolidation implementations and SAP BusinessObjects BI integration are sure to draw folks in, why the 30-minute live demos (new to the program this year) are scheduled to explore hot SAP solutions, like Xcelsius and SAP BusinessObjects Explorer, accelerated version.
As for networking opportunities, the line-up is looking just as strong. Ask-the-Experts (a favorite from year to year) will offer attendees face time with expert speakers, and give them a chance to fire off even their toughest SAP questions. Expert LIVE sessions – informal forums where folks can sit down, article in hand, and chat with top authors from our Experts knowledgebase – are another opportunity to network, share best practices, and meet peers with similar interests.
As the week rolls on, I will be sure to post updates, highlights, and further details regarding both breakout sessions and networking activities. To find out more, you can visit the BI 2011
