Hello from CRM 2012 in Praha, aka the City of Spires.

During jumpstart day yesterday we saw about 200 of our conference attendees get up to speed on CRM functionality and what every CRM customer needs to know about mobility.

The main conference started today with a keynote address from Kevin O’Marah, Senior Research Fellow, Stanford Global Supply Chain Forum, and Rick Fleischman, Vice President, Marketing Initiatives, Line of Business Marketing, SAP, discussing “Technology and Productivity: A Time of Revolution”.

This afternoon we have concurrent sessions running until 17.15 and then an evening welcome reception and Ask-the-Experts. Ask-the-Experts provides attendees with an opportunity to pull up a chain in the ATE area of the exhibit hall and spend one-on-one time with our speakers.

Tonight’s experts are:

Werner Schmidt and Mirjam Wittmann, SAP AG
SAP solutions for sales, SAP mobility solutions, collaboration and social media solutions for sales, cloud vs. on premise vs. RDS solutions for sales

Thomas Ruhl, SAP AG
SAP CRM Interaction Center, SAP service on demand/social customer engagement on demand, SAP social CRM offerings

Jim Goldfinger, SAP
CRM best practices, sharing customer experiences, sales force automation

Steffen Model, Deloitte
Process consolidation and harmonization, strategy planning and budgeting, international CRM projects

I’m looking forward to a very successful conference and a lot of fun exploring the great city of Prague!
