Gadi Evron of Cymmetria, will present the Spotlight Session “Advancing the industry’s maturity: From zero-trust networks to hack backs” on November 28. He will be presenting on various concepts and techniques, examining each one and how the industry is maturing, and can mature in the future. Examples include zero-trust environments and how we build our networks when we already assume compromise. He will also touch on some controversial topics such as "hack backs" and how we may choose to engage with attackers on our own networks, and "fake news" and how our own organizations are at risk.
Gadi is the Founder and CEO of Cymmetria, a cyber security startup, funded by SAP.iO, that is pioneering the space of cyber deception. He is also Founder and Chairman of the Board of the Israeli CERT, Founding Chairman of the Cyber Threat Intelligence Alliance (CTIA), and Founder of the Israeli Government CERT. Gadi is widely recognized for his work in Internet security operation and global incident response, and is considered the first botnet expert.
