NASA Astronaut Douglas Wheelock Inspires SAPinsider Audience to Reach for the Stars and Prepare for Strong Growth Ahead

March 22, 2019

LAS VEGAS, March 22, 2019  - Wellesley Information Services (WIS), a leading market research and intelligence firm specializing in enterprise software technologies, including the largest independent membership site of global SAP users, SAPinsider (www.SAPinsiderOnline.com), concluded their signature event at The Bellagio in Las Vegas with a closing keynote featuring NASA Astronaut Douglas Wheelock.

The SAPinsider event brought together SAP professionals, partners, and speakers across five distinct programs for teams evaluating, implementing, running, and optimizing SAP solutions. The event registrations continued growing beyond 2,200 attendees from 34 countries around the world and sessions remained filled to capacity all the way through the conclusion of the fourth day of the conference.

Through the four days of expert-led sessions, networking, and hands-on training, attendees were empowered with insights for business transformation to escalate their growth as best-run businesses. In the concluding keynote, “Chance Favors the Prepared Mind,” NASA Astronaut Douglas Wheelock shared insights on how to carry these insights forward, overcome risks and challenges, launch new initiatives for business transformation, and successfully prepare for strong growth ahead.

In preparing to accomplish visionary goals, successfully overcome risk through business transformations, and achieve strong growth, NASA Astronaut Wheelock concluded, “All of these things in the human experience are all available to us as well. So it’s just a matter of the preparation. Be ready for the extraordinary experience.”

He showed how addressing these issues is not reliant upon extraordinary circumstances, but rather is similar to everything everyone experiences in their daily lives of growing their business, transforming their organizations, overcoming challenges, and being ready to overcome risk, succeed and grow. At the conclusion of the event, participants left empowered with the strategic insights for transforming their businesses, and with a vision that the sky is no longer the limit.
